Recipe: Silky Strawberries & Cream Smoothie

Silky-Strawberry-Smoothie

Start off your Valentine’s Day morning with a pretty in pink smoothie made with wholesome ingredients. Tofu adds creaminess and protein while fresh fruit and honey add the perfect amount of sweetness. Blend up a cup to serve to your sweetheart!

Silky Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (8 ounces) fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 medium banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup (about 4 ounces) soft tofu
  • 2 tablespoons plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds (optional)

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender, and process until smooth. Share it with a sweetie and enjoy!
